Support after a work-related psychological injury
Work-related stress, bullying, harassment, conflict, exposure to traumatic events or a difficult workplace change can affect mood, sleep, confidence and daily functioning. Psychological treatment can provide a structured space to understand what has happened and develop practical strategies for recovery.
Where treatment has been approved, sessions may focus on anxiety, depression, trauma responses, adjustment, communication, coping and safe, sustainable return-to-work goals.
How WorkCover psychology appointments work
Workers' compensation arrangements vary by state, territory, insurer and claim. Before a funded appointment is confirmed, Fern Up may need the claim number, insurer contact, referral or work-capacity documentation, billing approval and any limits placed on the treatment plan.
If approval is not yet in place, contact your insurer or case manager first. Fern Up can provide service information, but cannot determine claim eligibility or promise that an insurer will pay an invoice.
