NDIS Psychologist
Online across Australia.

Person-centred telehealth support for eligible self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants, aligned with individual goals and the supports available in the participant's plan.

Psychological support connected to your goals

Fern Up offers collaborative online psychology support for eligible NDIS participants. Sessions can focus on disability-related capacity building, emotional regulation, relationships, daily functioning and practical strategies that support greater participation and independence.

Support is shaped around the person rather than a standard program. Before starting, we clarify the participant's goals, plan-management arrangement, available funding and whether the requested service is an appropriate NDIS support.

Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants

Enquiries are welcome from people whose NDIS funding is self-managed or plan-managed. Service agreements, invoices and any reporting requirements are discussed in advance so that the participant, nominee or plan manager understands what will be provided.

NDIS funding cannot be assumed from a diagnosis or plan alone. Participants should confirm that the proposed support is consistent with their current plan and budget.

NDIS psychology in English, Farsi and Turkish

Appointments are available in English, Persian (Farsi) and Turkish. Telehealth can make it easier to access a psychologist who understands language, culture, migration and family context without travelling to a clinic.

  • Telehealth appointments across Australia
  • Collaborative, culturally responsive care
  • Clear discussion of goals, consent and billing
  • Coordination with a plan manager or support coordinator where authorised

Please note: NDIS funding does not automatically cover clinical treatment for a mental health condition. The requested support must be an eligible disability-related support and consistent with the participant's plan.

Frequently asked questions

Does Fern Up accept NDIS participants?

Fern Up welcomes enquiries from self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. The requested support must be consistent with the participant's plan, goals and available budget, and suitability is confirmed before appointments begin.

Can NDIS psychology sessions be provided online?

Telehealth may be available across Australia when online delivery is clinically appropriate and consistent with the participant's plan and goals.

Is every psychology appointment covered by the NDIS?

No. NDIS funding is for eligible disability-related supports and does not automatically cover clinical treatment that is more appropriately provided through the mainstream health system. Your plan manager or support coordinator can help confirm the correct pathway.

What information is needed before the first appointment?

Fern Up may ask about plan management, relevant goals, available funding, billing details and the type of support requested. No funded service is assumed until these details are confirmed.
